  Starter motor How is it done?

Es importante que respetemos la posicion de montaje para no tener problemas despues

Los puntos 1, 2 y 3 tienen que estar alineados

It's important to respect the mounting position to avoid problems later.

Points 1, 2, and 3 must be aligned.

De esta forma el montaje nos será mucho menos complicado a la hora de volver a montar

This way, the assembly will be much less complicated when it comes to reassembling.

Tenemos que fijarnos en esta muesca marcada con el numero 2

We need to look at this notch marked with the number 2

La misma muesca por la cara interior 

The same notch on the inside

Cuando realicemos el montaje tenemos que hace coincidir la muesca marcada con el numero dos de la foto anterior con la ranura de la placa porta escobillas marcada en la foto de arriba con una flecha y la parte posterior del motor de arranque para un montaje correcto.

When we carry out the assembly, we have to match the notch marked with the number two in the previous photo with the slot on the brush holder plate marked in the photo above with an arrow and the back of the starter motor for correct assembly.

Las partes nuevas que necesitamos son A placa porta escobillas, B Escobilla del positivo y C tóricas

The new parts we need are: A brush holder plate, B positive brush and C o-rings

Prestar a tención a las escobilla del positivo y su correcta colocación y también importante,  la arandela del eje del motor

Pay attention to the positive brush and its correct placement, and also importantly, the motor shaft washer.

Colocar las tóricas en su lugar

Place the O-rings in their place

Esta tórica cuando no se ha cambiado después de 30 años puede ocasionar que el aceite motor, ensucie  la parte de bajo del alojamiento del motor de arranque. 

This O-ring, if not replaced after 30 years, can cause engine oil to contaminate the underside of the starter motor housing.

Esta tórica ya no cierra bien

This O-ring no longer closes properly

Esta realiza el cierre correcto

This performs the correct closure.

Recordar la importancia de colocar correctamente la escobilla del positivo del motor de arranque , tenemos que recordar que el resto del motor de arranque esta conectado a masa

Remember the importance of correctly positioning the positive brush of the starter motor; we must remember that the rest of the starter motor is connected to ground.

Recordar esta muesca tiene que encajar en la pestana del cuerpo de imanes que marcamos con el numero 2  y en la parte final del motor de arranque que marcamos con 3

Remember this notch has to fit into the tab on the magnet body that we marked with the number 2 and into the end part of the starter motor that we marked with 3

 

Yo monto la escobilla de positivo así en la placa porta escobillas

I mount the positive brush like this on the brush holder plate.
