How to replace the piston of the brake pump

1º Nos centramos en la piña derecha
1º We focus on the right command

2 Buscamos el tornillo que nos permite sacar la parte delantera de la piña
2 We look for the screw that allows us to take out the front part of the keypad

3 Este es el tornillo que debemos sacar, después de sacar el tornillo, subiremos un poco todo el conjunto
3 This is the screw that we must remove, after removing the screw, We will raise a little the whole set

4 Al levantar el conjunto lo sacamos para librar la pestaña que vemos en el punto 5
4 When we lift the assembly we take it out to free the tab that we see in point 5

5º Una vez subida, la traemos hacia nosotros y  la tenemos fuera
5º Once it's up, we bring it to us and we have it outside

6º Ahora sacamos la tapa del mecanismo del acelerador, es el momento de limpiarla y poner grasa nueva
6º Now we remove the lid of the throttle mechanism, it's time to clean it and put new grease

7º Así tendremos un poco mas suave el puño
7º So we will have a little more smooth accelerator

8º Con los dos tornillos que quitamos a continuación conseguiremos separar el conjunto de

9º La bomba y del acelerador este es uno de los tornillos

10º Y aquí el otro,hay que tener en cuenta que el cable del freno esta muy tirante debes de aflojarlo para no
10º And here the other, you have to keep in mind that the brake cable is too tight you have to loosen it to avoid

11º Forzarlo, si tu moto lleva los contrapesos del mamillar se quitan en este momento
11º Force it, if your bike has the counterweights of the mamillar remove themselves at this moment

12º Al sacar el puño debes de ver que este lleva en la parte dentada una ralla
12º When you take out your fist, you should see that it has a grated part on the toothed part

13º Esa ralla debe de coincidir con la que hay en la rueda de la cadeneta del acelerador
13º That grating must match the one on the throttle chain wheel

14º Ahora aflojamos el tornillo que impide que gire la maneta (Recordar su posición)
14º Now we loose the screw that prevents the handle from turning (Remember its position)

15º Así quedara en línea con vuestro antebrazo
15º So it will stay in line with your forearm

16º aquí ya se aprecia cómo se separan las dos partes de la maneta
16º here you can already see how the two parts of the lever are separated

18º sacando hacia atrás el conjunto del freno podemos ver el pistón de la bomba

20º Quitaremos en liquido del deposito, procurando que no caiga sobre la pintura
20º We will remove liquid from the tank, making sure it does not fall on the paint

21º Vaciamos el liquido en un bote y secamos muy bien
21º We empty the liquid in a boat and clean it very well

22º Aquí podéis ver el anillo que evita que el pistón salga hacia adelante
22º Here you can see the ring that prevents the piston from going forward

23º Es aconsejable tener este tipo de alicate aunque se puede sacar sin el.
23º It is advisable to have this type of pliers although you can remove without it.

24º El anillo de retención a punto de salir
24º The retaining ring about to exit

25º Una vez sacado el amillo ya se puede estirar del pistón hacia adelante
25º Once the amillo is removed, the piston can be stretched forward

26 Sacaremos el pistón del interior de la bomba.
26 We will remove the piston from inside the pump.

27 Ahora, se puede ver como el pistón superior tiene el reten gastado
27 Now, you can see how the upper piston has the worn end

28 Esta es la suciedad que ha estropeado el reten.
28 This is the dirt that has spoiled the seal.

29 Es aconsejable limpiar bien el interior del cuerpo de la bomba
29 It is advisable to thoroughly clean the inside of the pump body
