Como mejorar el ventilador (ingles)

How to improve the fan

For a long time, I have problems with the cooling of my motorcycle when attending bike races, on hot days and on climbs the bike gets too hot.

TABAYU I recommend two or three fans of Japanese motorcycles that apart from last much longer, have much more flow. In this example, a fan of a 2000 Yamaha R6 is used.

Here we have a view of the fan that our motorcycles equip

And once separated from the radiator

This is the fan that I'm going to put on, giving a Yamaha R6 2000

More details of the engine

Let's remove the fan that equips our motorcycle

We have to find the three tabs to be able to extract the posterior cap

By pressing the tabs you see in the next photo, you can remove the cap

Now we are going to remove the two anchors of the engine, to the coupling housing of the fan to the radiator

With the help of a screwdriver we remove them from their lower housing

Now we can remove the fan to replace.

We have the casing and proceed to remove the part that bothers us

It is a very easy task to perform

The consumption of the new fan is lower and the revolutions are much higher

This is the original mounted on my bike and running

Here I have prepared the double installation, so that the fan can be activated in two different ways, either by the control order of the control unit or by manual activation, also and although you can not see, the two sockets are separated one of the other with diodes in such a way that if the activation is manual, there will never be voltage to the control unit and vice versa.
